SPRING HAS SPRUNG

“As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease.”  Genesis 8:22

Planter at sunset

A beautiful spring evening!  This was our little boy (who will graduate from Central College today, May 17th) planting corn last week!  Jacob finished planting corn for us on Saturday, May 10th and planted his 4th sequential sweet corn for J & E’s Sweet Corn.  In addition to planting, we have started to get calves in (which means feeding 3 times a day), selling hogs, moving Emily home from college, hosting farm tours, and attending graduation parties.

Lunch in the field!

These long days make us all tired.

WATCHING FOR VISITORS TO ARRIVE

It has been exciting to host a couple of school groups so far.  We eagerly look forward to two more next week!  Watch for pictures of these events in the next few weeks!
